This album features custom dobro straps made by our friend Bobby Poff in Riverton, Wyoming.    The comfort level from Poff straps alone is well worth the money.  The craftsmanship and artistry is unmatched!  Made from 100% American hand tooled leather by a real pro saddle maker...Mr. Bobby Poff!

Really great sites of some awesome folks!

BluegrassWorld website:

This site has a ton of bluegrass links!

Frank and his wife Pam are really awesome people and great friends.  They are Uncle/Aunt to The Rice Brothers.  Frank is one of the best resophonic guitar players out there.  Check out his site and his new CD "It's The Music."

The Rice & Poindexter family:

Breakfast with the family before the Larry Rice Benefit; L to R:  Larry Rice, Linda behind him, Louise Rice, Jan Poindexter, Pam Poindexter, Frank Poindexter, Leon Poindexter and Jordan Rice in front.

Brothers Tony, Ronnie and Wyatt Rice plus Frank, Pam, Jan, Leon and others in the Poindexter side of their family join us and the millions of Larry fans in prayer for total remission.  Larry is facing a long & expensive journey of medical treatment for his lung cancer.  Treatments to date have been very effective and we all thank God for these victories and for people like Lee Kotick who has raised precious money for Larry.  Thanks for the efforts of all those who are trying to help Larry and Linda make it financially.   Larry is strong and determined to beat this and we know he will.

If you'd like to contribute to the Larry Rice Fund.  The smallest donation makes a big difference.   You can visit this

Phil just won the 2005 "Dobro Player Of The Year" from IBMA!  Congrats Phil!  He's a great dobro(TM) player with "WILDFIRE" band.

Elson Smith is the proprietor of one of the greatest bluegrass and country music stores in America!  We love him!

Ask for Dennis!

Below:  JDBB member "DWinRICHMOND" Dennis Reamy delivering the (2) Cedar Creek cases to Jerry D. at Merlefest..."Bomber Jacket Brown" leather and very fine!  I offered to take them if Jerry didn't like them.  Right.

Chris Eldridge:

Son of Ben Eldridge of Seldom Scene... future star for sure!

Ben Eldridge:  Nuff Said!!!

He wrote the book on talent in our opinion.  Plus he is a great person with an awesome sense of humor.

Ben is cracking up here with hilarity!
