The Rice & Poindexter family:
Breakfast with the family before the Larry Rice Benefit; L to R: Larry Rice, Linda behind him, Louise Rice, Jan Poindexter, Pam Poindexter, Frank Poindexter, Leon Poindexter and Jordan Rice in front.
Brothers Tony, Ronnie and Wyatt Rice plus Frank, Pam, Jan, Leon and others in the Poindexter side of their family join us and the millions of Larry fans in prayer for total remission. Larry is facing a long & expensive journey of medical treatment for his lung cancer. Treatments to date have been very effective and we all thank God for these victories and for people like Lee Kotick who has raised precious money for Larry. Thanks for the efforts of all those who are trying to help Larry and Linda make it financially. Larry is strong and determined to beat this and we know he will.

Hal is brother of Frank and Leon Poindexter, plus a whole dang herd of other brothers and sisters. Great piece of history here! Photo from Ace Tipton's site sent to me by Leon.
This is Andy Hall, a great dobro picker below picking on a Harper guitar at The Station Inn, August 27, 2005:
Son of Ben Eldridge of Seldom Scene... future star for sure!
He wrote the book on talent in our opinion. Plus he is a great person with an awesome sense of humor.
