This lady is Bobby's favorite fiddler:

My Favorite Fiddler: Laurie jammin' at the Bluegrass Shop holding my Wolfe and her "Red Baron" German fiddle. No, she does not play dobro. We still have the German, but now her attention is with the new Lebron Batey fiddle shown in above FIDDLES photo album.

Lebron has the golden touch for Bluegrass fiddles. They are great examples of the incredible tone and volume that can be produced from a well made instrument. He uses a flatter bridge than some others, which Laurie likes. Makes double stops easier. Also makes it easier to hit a wrong note! Like my buddy Mike Godwin says, "If you hit a wrong note, do it twice so people will think you meant to." We hope to post some pictures of Lebron in his shop in the near future. Call him! He also sells through Gibson and you can ask "Big Joe" about Lebron's works.
